Having recently rocked their show at SXSW with the greatest success, the are promoting their sensational track ”Houseboat Babies”. Everything about this song screams dancing in the sunshine with giant smiles plastered all over your face and deserves your absolute attention.

Widely known London-based DJ and producer Erol Alkan has just released his latest ‘rework’, this time working his magic on the new single ”Forever Dolphin Love” by the New Zealand psychedelic pop musician Connan Mockasin. He keeps the same vibe as the original, only adding some chilled out beats and spacey synths.

Poolside are a duo from L.A who describe the music they make as ”day time disco”. Apparently, their pool house turn studio is the perfect laboratory for conjuring delectable danceable disco music.
Their pretty amazing first single ”Do You Believe” was released on Future Classic and comes with a brilliant remix by Jacques Renault and also features Tiffany Roth from Midnight Magic.

Prepare yourself for dance-rock band Walk The Moon and their track ”Anna Sun”. Possibly the catchiest, feel good pop song I’ve heard in a long time.
Now the track itself has been out since November last year, and I’m kinda disappointed I didn’t have it through the winter to cheer me up. On the brighter side though, it’s now my new summer anthem. Result.

So, they are back.
After a four year wait, French electronic duo Justice have finally released ”Civilization”, the first single and taste of their upcoming sophomore album.
The chorus is great, however they don’t seemed to have progressed much since their debut. Nevertheless, it’s still a great track that gets better with every listen.

Unsurprisingly, Lady Gaga‘s ”Born This Way” received a massive remix treatment, with twelve artists supplying their own take on the track and it all being released earlier this month in it’s very own remix EP.
Out of the twelve, I’ve chosen three remixes that really stick out for me. Twin Shadow‘s remix shines above all others as he strips nearly all the synths and turns up the bass and really makes something special, while Starsmith and Grum do their fantastic usual.

Young Liars are an indie pop band based in Vancouver, California. I discovered them the other day when I trawling the net. I had a listen to their debut EP ”Homesick Future” and I’ll admit they aren’t ground breaking, but they are a hell of a lot of fun.
They make music for the unpretentious, fun loving parts in all of us. They’ll make you just sing, dance and smile. That’s what it’s all about, right?
