New Penguin Prison Single

On Monday, New York’s electronic synthpop guy, Penguin Prison released his U.K. single ‘Golden Train’. I just got my hands on it and I’m well impressed.

I have to admit I’ve never really been much of a fan of Penguin Prison until only a short while ago, when I heard a remix by him and I just seemed to ‘get him’, and everything just made sense.

He does dance music in a such a clever way, that he can simultaneously entertain the ‘dancers’ and the ‘boppers’. It’s perfect dance pop; entertaining and catchy yet at the same time, emotional and containing direction.

His new single ‘Golden Train’ follows suit and once again Penguin Prison delivers gold.

Jamiroquai’s White Knuckle Ride

After 5 long years Jamiroquai‘s back with his newest track ‘White Knuckle Ride’ – a funky disco infused dance pop number, serving as a welcomed introduction to his forthcoming album Rock Dust Light Star due November on Mercury Records.

Luxury Living

Lodging up in London’s most trendy areas hasn’t stopped the band Luxury Living from creating genuinely wonderful disco pop music. The band has sparked up huge interest from their remix of Penguin Prison‘s ‘Something I’m Not’ and now they’re doing the rounds with their own music, and thankfully, its just as fresh, just as smooth and just as catchy.
